 I finished the preliminary site.  There are still some things I have to do, for instance, straighten out the options in the drop down menus, put more frame choices in the drop down menus. put some text to sell the shit, get the prices straight.  I also want to work on the presentation.  With the quand meme series, possibly use a drop shadow in the frameless image

Site progress

I'm getting closer to getting the pictures I wanted up on the site, but still, I'm not satisfied with the site.  Of course it needs more work.  Less jumping around etc. A professional hand. In the meantime I'll have to take it easy.  I have legal work to do, in the form of this case, and study for the lsat, as well as paying on my bills. 

Right now I'm going to check the prices, finish uploading frame choices, I won't have all the choices, but just what i want. Also, I can get the domain, etc.

It could be the color choice that i don't like about this current theme.

Another thing concerning teh pictures, I could sell the image without the frame, but I don't have to show the image without the frame. So when the picture comes up, just show it with a frame, and for cost, perhaps it can read, 'please choose from options below' or something.

I can't get the header right. I'd like to be able to remove the search bar and facebook and other icons at the top, and replace the whole header with my logo.  How do I do that?

I am still feeling the myth and astrology with some of the new photoderive works. I've been reading on the astrological sign of pisces, which really reminds me of this piece, 'l'enchanteresse'. It still may need more work. There are elements I'm always looking into.  The parisian dancer is still something. 

Size options on Product Page

I'm considering how to price the options accurately within a product page. The obvious is to make another option with larger frames.  To have two options, one with smaller frames and one with larger frames.  In that sense, I would have 2 image sizes for sale

I'm going to have to use the slideshow carosel at the bottom of the main image. I don't know how to set different prices for different options yet. But from what I'm seeing. When people choose different options, first I'll have to have the options captioned

Using a spreadsheet, csv file

 It would probably be easier to use a spreadsheet to add my product info.  That way, I could just import a spreadsheet, when I wanted to do shit, rather than go through and fill out and submit each field of product information and variation.  Probably be easier to make changes.  Right now, I've got most of the info in the file title of the piece.

for instance, had I known about using spreadsheets, I would have downloaded my shopify info as a csv file before the free trial period ended, that way I could have used this info to upload to another site.

It's also true that I didn't see this option, 'download csv file of products'.

I could also start another shopify page, just to see what happens, grab the csv info... I could do the same with squarespace.  I found out about another called, '3dcart'.  Also Builderfly.  I'm working on 3d cart right now

Squarespace has what seems to be a plugin that works with some of the templates.  The templates I'm not impressed with, and may or may not work with the plugin well, from what I'm reading, but also they cost 30 pounds english, for the basic

3dcart seems to address the issue of options and variants directly.  I'm going to try to build a quick site with options, or variants, and download a csv file.

 A good thing to do would be to set up a site as fast as I can, doing what I want to do, then deleting the site.  So before I get started on a trial, I'll see if I can delete a site.  Also, it'd be good to set up two sites with the same email, to see if starting another site after deleting a site would be possible.

Website template

 I am thinking of my options for the site.  Although I already have the shopify site built, it's not only that there are issues with the assistance, it's that there are also issues with the displaying of variants.  with Shopify, the variants appear down the side or middle of the page.  There are several options: 

I can go with trying out squarespace, or some other ecommerce website builder, to see how variants are handled on their sites; 

I can stick with shopify, and go with a different template, which may have the same problem; 

I can stick with shopify, and have someone look at the variants, and try to hide it.  

    I can write that person who answered someone else's question, which was the same question.  I can't be bothered with fucking with the code, so can someone input the correct code? Is it free, does it come with the plan I choose, ($39/month), or does it cost extra?

    I can see if someone from  say, Craiglist, can do the code to hide the variants
